Applications: EPX-2 Primer has been developed for printing on OPP pressure sensitive adhesive tapes with a release coat. It is compatible with commercially available tape printing machinery. It can be thinned with toluene and must be applied to the backside of standard PP slit tape on a printing machine. Application quantities should be 4-5 g/m2. EPX-2 Primer should be applied to the film with an Anilox or Gravure roller and thoroughly dried before ink is applied at the printing station. Use of printing machines with three coating units is recommended to avoid drying problems and to enable the primer to be applied in line during production. EPX-2 Primer is compatible with Mayzo’s RA-95H, RA-95HS and RA-10 series release coats.
Packaging: EPX-2 Primer is available in 33 pounds (5 gallon) DOT approved steel pails.
