Established in 1986 Mayzo develops innovative solutions and products sold on a global scale to a wide range of markets including tape, label, adhesive, polymer and rubber, inks and coatings and lubricants. Our specialty chemical products and solutions provide unique answers to customer issues associated with processing, quality, EH&S (environment, health and safety) and other areas to create customer value.

2010 - BASF and Mayzo Inc., a privately owned chemical company, signed a definitive agreement under which BASF’s Chemical additives will be distributed to their adhesives and sealants customers in North America, solely by Mayzo. This will include additives of the former Ciba Specialty Chemical Company, which were acquired by BASF.

2010 - ChemTel Inc., a provider of customized compliance solutions, awarded Mayzo Certificate of Compliance in recognition of formal efforts to provide emergency response information for chemical related emergencies.

2010 - Mayzo relocates headquarters to a new and larger location in Suwanee, Georgia, as part of a strategic plan to consolidate the administrative offices with the Atlanta area warehouse locations.

2009 - Mayzo achieves ISO 9001-2008 Certification. See our Certificate

2007 - Mayzo expands Release Coatings business throughout Asia.

2006 - Mayzo joins the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council as a Supplier Member. Acquired Escoat release coat product line.

2004 - Introduced Polypropylene modifiers using beta nucleation technology.

2003 - Mayzo acheived ISO 9001:2000 Certification.

2000 - Launched "TPR" product line. Highly loaded additive master batches in thermoplastic elastomers (SIS rubber) for use in hot melt adhesive application.

1998 - Established USA Based Testing and Research Laboratory.

1995 - Developed Liquid Antioxidant System.

1993 - Opened Norcross Corporate Office

1988 - Executed Sales Representation agreement for Nippon Zeon's Styrenic Block Copolymers.

1986 - Initial Products: Release Coatings, Antioxidants for Hot Melt Adhesive  applications and Release Coatings for pressure sensitive tape.
