good light stability for plastics and other organic polymers. BLS® 1326
is especially suited for polyolefins and cold cured polyesters. It

appearance and physical integrity, especially for polyolefins and
polyester resins. |

5411 is a Benzotriazole type ultraviolet light absorber effective for a
broad range of UV absorption. In addition, it is also noted for its low
color contribution, low volatility and excellent solubility. BLS 5411
provides ultraviolet protection in a wide variety of polymeric systems
particularly in polyesters, polyvinyl chlorides, styrenics, acrylics,
polycarbonates and polyvinyl butyral during outdoor weathering. Typical
end use applications include molded items, extruded sheets, glazing
materials for window lighting, signs, marine and auto applications.

531 is extremely effective ultraviolet light absorber for plastics and other
organic polymers. Due to its highly effective broad UV absorption properties and
excellent polymer compatibility, BLS
531 offers maximum polymer protection and low color contribution, retards
yellowing, and loss of physical properties.

1328 Ultraviolet Light Absorber

BLS
1328 is highly recommended for protective coatings. It does not cause
"yellowing", is unaffected by practical baking requirements and has
excellent UV absorbing characteristics. BLS
1328 provides excellent protection in a variety of automotive coating
substrates: two component polyurethanes and thermoset acrylic enamels. BLS
1328 has excellent solubility in urethane solvents, is non-reactive and has no
effect on the cured properties of the coating while protecting against loss of
gloss. BLS
1328 protects against loss of gloss and is useful in thermosetting acrylic clear
top coats where it protects against interfacial adhesive loss between the top
coat and the base coat.

BLS 1710
is a benzotriazole type UV absorber suitable for use in many plastics, coatings,
rubber, adhesives, and organic polymers. Characterized by its strong,
broad-range UV absorption properties, BLS 1710 brings an excellent
photostability to polymers against UV light exposure in many ways, including
retarding color yellowing, preventing embrittlement and in maintenance of
mechanical properties.

1710 is particularly effective in sytrenic polymers, rigid and plasticized PVC,
unsaturated polyesters, polyurethanes, acrylic polymers, and polycarbonates.
